Since its launch in 1988 Brooklyn Brewery has been a strong supporter of music and arts communities. To further embed the brand in the local cultural landscape, reinforcing its identity not just as a beer maker but as a significant part of culture they launched the project: Brooklyn Sound.
Brooklyn Sound provide a platform and opportunities for emerging and established artists to showcase their talent while creating a community-focused atmosphere that bring people together to enjoy good times, great music and delicious brews.
Our mission included developing a visual identity and ideas for how this platform could come to life and be activated at venues, in bars and at festivals. The idea behind the visual expression is that Brooklyn Sound wouldn’t be anything without the artists. They are the ones who provide the content, Brooklyn Sound is merely the platform/framework. The visual expression, where the artist is given significant space, creates conditions for the artworks to become as unique as the artists themselves.
