Backyard Brew is understandable and accessible craft beer & beverages for those who feel somewhat lost in the world of craft beer. The brews are developed and crafted at Carlsberg Sweden's small-scale experimental and development brewery located in the backyard of the Falkenberg Brewery.

The design draws its inspiration from old paint cans, tools and other things you can find in a backyard shed. Our ambition has been to create a visual world, both colors and typography. that correlates with the uncomplicated philosophy behind Backyard Brew.

The inspiration for the product names also originates from the backyard. All products are named after things one can find there – buildings, objects or tools etc. Names that can accentuate the character of each brew.

The result of this project: great tasting (and looking) brews perfect for let’s say … your backyard.
